In this 75-page compact guide, Rick Steves covers the essentials of Stockholm, including City Hall, Old Town, and the Vasa Museum, which houses Europe's best-preserved old warship. Travelers will find firsthand advice on the best sights, eating, sleeping, and nightlife, while the maps and self-guided tours will ensure they make the most of their experience. The guide includes good-value hotel and restaurant recommendations, with no introductory information (such as overall trip planning, when to go, and travel practicalities), and no indexes.
Creative Collective Effect
Creative Collective Effect is a fashion
show focusing on eco conscious clothing. Initiated by Creative Collective the show, featuring well known brands such as Nudie Jeans, took place during Stockholm Fashion Week. During the night, hip hop group Movits!, fresh back from a month long US-tour, gave a special performance.
We designed the identity for the show comprising a WordPress blog, a logotype, posters and flyers plus a set of stickers. The key words of the identity was recycling, collaboration, engagement and creativity. This was emphasized on the poster by cropping the logotype to six different pieces and mixing them to create a graphical pattern. Along the lines of each piece, the paper was perforated so that the pieces could easily be ripped out and fit together to form the logotype. This calls for the previously mentioned creativity and symbolizes the act of collaboration and recycling. The perforation lines were set to resemble stitches on garments.
H&M's first blogosphere collection
Exclusively to be sold in Sweden, style consultant and blogger Elin Kling is teaming up with H&M. The collection will launch on February 3rd, and sold at ten stores in Stockholm, Goteborg, Malmo, and Uppsala. Each sale will donate 10% to UNICEF. Kling’s blog ‘Style by Kling’ is one of the most visited fashion
websites of Sweden, and is the first collaboration between the high-street giant and a blogger. The collection will feature several pieces and accessories with Bohemian elements that reflect her style. Previously, the two have worked together on AW10 trends. Read more on Fashion United
